My

BACKGROUND

Hi! I’m Ana, and I was born and raised in Danbury, CT. In May 2024, I’ll be graduating from Western Connecticut State University with a degree in Digital & Interactive Media Arts and a concentration in Computer Science.

I didn’t always know I would get into web design, but I think this journey started for me back in high school, when I would enjoy creating Google Slides presentations with customized colors, fonts, and images. By my junior year, I also joined the yearbook staff, which was some of my earliest training in visual design by understanding the basics of photography and building page layouts.

When I’m not designing websites, I enjoy listening to music, watching TV shows, and playing with my dog. I’m curious about history, wildlife, astronomy, and RV glamping.

Personality

My MBTI is INFP and my Enneagram is Type 4, which makes me an artistic and idealistic person similar to writers like J.R.R. Tolkein and characters like Anne of Green Gables.

Photography

I’m an amateur photographer with a DSLR, and most of my portfolio consists of animals – mainly my German Shepherd dog, Jasper.

Writing

I’ve always been a pretty good writer, and it is my dream to write an epic book trilogy one day. My imaginations of this story have evolved over the years, but right now I am thinking of drawing inspiration from The Mandalorian.

Adventure

I am a homebody at heart, but I aspire to explore the outdoors more by RV camping and stargazing at dark sky national parks.

Fandoms

I’m kind of a nerd! I believe in the power of stories, and some of my favorites over the years have been Avatar: The Last Airbender, Doctor Who, Monk, Chuck, The Originals, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Mandalorian, Period Dramas, K-Dramas, and Studio Ghibli films!

I have an “old lady” taste in games: Solitaire (Klondike, Spider, Freecell, Pyramid, and Tri-Peaks), Sudoku, and 2048.

Typing

I’m a pretty fast typist. My average typing speed is 95 WPM and I have even considered a career or side gig in court reporting or transcription.
